TRIED & TESTED: JIMMY MONKEY CAFE & BAR

Stuck off from our weekend rendezvous coffee date is Jimmy Monkey Cafe and Bar. Boy, it was really hard to locate the cafe at One North. Oh yes, One North Residences, this place exists.

Like most other decent newly opened coffee joints, the interior is nicely put together with a New York loft with modern industrial vibe. Just be warned, the cafe is tiny. There’s hardly room to walk. I thought Oriole Cafe at Jiak Chuan was a tad small but Jimmy Monkey Cafe is slightly smaller.

Piccolo Latte (4/5 stars)

Short pasta salad with feta and greens

Good coffee with decent antipastos. But since I’m normally nowhere near this vicinity, I wouldn’t come back here unless 1) the cafe expands 2) the cafe expands 3) see point 1 & 2.
