CAFE FEST SINGAPORE

I don’t particularly fancy alcohol so wine/beer festivals don’t excite me.
I’m not a huge fan of trance, house music or anything that makes my head spin so those music festivals don’t excite me neither.

Finally when some good soul decides to do a COFFEE festival featuring 12 popular coffee hours/bakeries, my lips tingle with anticipation.

At first we were looking forward to the VIP-exclusive tent – providing shade and live band music – which would save us the trouble of jostling with the standard pass holders and searching for seats. Turns out the tent has such limited number of bean bag-looking like seats that we were tempted to simply sun ourselves on the public pavement instead.

By the stroke of luck, we found an empty table tucked right next to the last coffee stall, Common Man Roast. :) So there you go, we went bananas over coffee and baked goods and settled ourselves nicely for some three hours.

Three cups of coffee (this is all mine), two cakes and some croissants later… I still felt like having more great coffee. Oh boy, if only The Man was here to enjoy this with me.

Even owl was pretty knocked up by the caffiene. Hah!

Coffee lovers (addicts) have a tonne of caffeinated jokes and anecdotes as a result of an overdrive in the brain. Here’s a blog I enjoy very much: http://en.ilovecoffee.jp/

How’s your weekend going?

xoxo,
Gie
