I didn’t think that I would be a cat person. Ever. Dogs are fun, bubbly, clingy at times and mostly a great companion for most people. Sure, I like cats but guess I never had the chance to spend more time with them to understand them better. My most vivid memory of domestic cats was based on the long scratch marks on my friend’s arms. *shiver*
Fast forward a few years, I began stalking cats in my neighbourhood, snapping pictures of adorable sleeping ones in their funny awkward positions and attempting to make a stray tabby like me more than the auntie who feeds him. The Mr. cannot resist the charm of cats too so the both of us will always go, “Kitty catty!” whenever we spot a feline on the streets.
We passed by a newly opened cat cafe at Bugis. We needed to kill time before meeting friends for dinner so no prizes for guessing, we walked straight in. $13 for the first hour (EXPENSIVE YO) and $5 for each subsequent half hour. We simply unleashed ALL OUR INNER CAT CRAVING.
Speaking of pets, the Mr. and I recently adopted a creature that was straying at our doorstep. I ceased lounging on our sofa; the creature’s bouncy belly is my favourite spot to lie on now.
